Most commercially available sauerkrauts are heated and/or pasteurized, effectively destroying the live enzymes present in naturally fermented foods plus most brands are loaded with salt. Our salt-free cabbage and dill organic sauerkraut is completely raw, naturally fermented and contains no salt.
We create this raw sauerkraut by grinding fresh, raw cabbage and setting into stainless steel containers for five to seven days to culture. No salt, water or vinegar is added. We add lemon and dill to our raw sauerkraut to give it a bit of zing and boost its nutritional benefits. Use our salt-free organic sauerkraut in the same way you would use any other sauerkraut.
Upon receipt, refrigerate and open jar(s) after these fresh, live, raw cultured vegetables are cold.
