Sunflower Sauce

Sunflower seeds are a great way to naturally boost your copper and vitamin E intake, which, among other things, help keep your skin and hair healthy and glowing. Check out this recipe for Sunflower Sauce for a fresh way to eat more of these delicious seeds:


  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 2 tsp soy sauce or tamari*
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower Seed Butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk**


Place ingredients in a bowl and blend together until smooth. Use as a salad dressing, as a sauce for entrees, as a dip, or refrigerate for later inspiration.

** a fresh and pure (and delicious!) option for this is to get a coconut and use it’s naturally present coconut water or make your own coconut milk from organic coconut shreds by blending water and coconut shreds in a blender or food processor and draining the milk through cheesecloth or a nut milk bag. Recipe here
